Riesling 2009: $-
Typical of a Riesling from the Canberra Cool Climate District the Granitevale 2009 Riesling has a wonderful floral nose (rose petal and violets) with great lime and lemon characteristics across the pallet. It is a very well balanced wine with a terrific clean, crisp, finish. Is drinking extremely well as a young wine and will also age with extraordinary grace.
Note: Sold Out. Next vintage 2013.
Sauvignon Blanc 2013: $20
The 2013 Sauvignon Blanc is another fine light-medium bodied wine developed from purely Estate grown fruit. Light Straw in colour, this subtle wine has a mild herbaceous nose, enhanced with a hint of capsicum, green bean and tomato leaf. These are characteristics typical of the Canberra Region. The pallet displaying hints of asparagus and gooseberry lingers through a well weighted middle pallet to a crisp finish providing excellent balance. Imbibe in moderation.
